This car was originally sent to Jersey in 1978 but was returned and registered in the UK in 1982.  Built as a rubber bumper this was converted to a V8 and full chrome bumper spec when the car was fully restored in 2001 - 2003.

Now, the list of works completed is incredible and well documented and I'll list the main bullet points:

-To start, the cost of this build was almost £50000 !! (let that sink in a minute)
-Body resprayed in VW Tornado red, RV8 bonnet with louvers
-4 litre competition Rover V8 (270hp & 250ft/lbs torque with dyno sheet)
-Fully rebuilt, upgraded and balanced engine.
-Mallory distributor
-Edelbrock inlet, 600cfm carb & John Hoyle full stainless exhaust
-LT77 Vitesse manual gearbox
-Sierra Cosworth LSD, Cosworth rear disc brakes
-John Hoyle fully independent and adjustable front and rear suspension
-AP racing calipers up front
-17 x 8" Image split rims with 245/45 tyres
-MGOC power steering
-Rollover bar
-Full leather interior in cream with walnut dash and cappings
-3 point hanesses

This really is a one off no expense spared build.  Beautiful throughout and sporting a huge fully detailed history file.
Private plate included ( 2860 MG )

Finished in Old English White topped off with a new black retractable soft top.

Original style steel wheels with smooth chrome small hub caps.

Interior is pretty much original spec, correct leather seats and trim (all red on red carpets) A period style wood rimmed steering wheel has been fitted. The dash is in great condition and has been finished with a modern CD radio.

This car is an overdrive model so sit back, relax and enjoy some cruising economy.

Overall this car is great condition, the doors shut nicely and the hinges feel strong. All panel gaps are good.
