1978 MGB Roadster 4L V8!! £47K+ build cost £36995
This car was originally sent to Jersey in 1978 but was returned and registered in the UK in 1982. Built as a rubber bumper this was converted to a V8 and full chrome bumper spec when the car was fully restored in 2001 - 2003.
Now, the list of works completed is incredible and well documented and I'll list the main bullet points:
-To start, the cost of this build was almost £50000 !! (let that sink in a minute)
-Body resprayed in VW Tornado red, RV8 bonnet with louvers
-4 litre competition Rover V8 (270hp & 250ft/lbs torque with dyno sheet)
-Fully rebuilt, upgraded and balanced engine.
-Edelbrock inlet, 600cfm carb & John Hoyle full stainless exhaust
-LT77 Vitesse manual gearbox
-Sierra Cosworth LSD, Cosworth rear disc brakes
-John Hoyle fully independent and adjustable front and rear suspension
-AP racing calipers up front
-17 x 8" Image split rims with 245/45 tyres
-MGOC power steering
-Full leather interior in cream with walnut dash and cappings
-3 point hanesses
This really is a one off no expense spared build. Beautiful throughout and sporting a huge fully detailed history file.

Tartan red on black leather interior piped in red.
Wood rim steering wheel. Overdrive on 3rd and 4th.
Wire wheels. 4 previous keepers.
Just had £2900 spent in April 2021 on full recommissioning.

This is a very nice car throughout. Body and paint is in very good order. Interior is nice and clean.
Underneath is nice and solid.
Drives great, lots of power when needed, Overdrive makes cruising very comfortable.
1971 MGB Roadster, chrome bumper £13995
Recently professionaly refinished in Vermillion red with Original ''very good'' basket weave interior.
Chrome bumper model with overdrive on 3rd and 4th gear.
Sitting on chrome Rostyles which really help to make the car stand out compared to the normal style.
All new side trims and boot mounted luggage rack.
New boot carpets. Engine bay has been detailed to a nice standard.
Car drives great on the road and the gearbox and overdrive are smooth.
All in this is a very nice looking car that won't dissapoint.
1964 MGB Roadster 'pull handle' £16995
Finished in Old English White topped off with a new black retractable soft top.
Original style steel wheels with smooth chrome small hub caps.
Interior is pretty much original spec, correct leather seats and trim (all red on red carpets) A period style wood rimmed steering wheel has been fitted. The dash is in great condition and has been finished with a modern CD radio.
This car is an overdrive model so sit back, relax and enjoy some cruising economy.
Overall this car is great condition, the doors shut nicely and the hinges feel strong. All panel gaps are good.
